Carbon Friendly Dining

Carbon Friendly Dining

As part of our efforts to increase sustainable practices, we've introduced our Carbon Friendly Dining initiative. By adding a voluntary £1.23 to all our bills we give all our restaurant diners the option to mitigate the environmental impact of the meals they enjoy while at the same time helping provide some of the planet's poorest communities.

Our support, in this way is towards the Carbon Friendly Dining and Gift Tree initiative. To date, and over the last 6 years we have raised the money to plant over 400,000 trees. Carbon neutrality and environmental sustainability are key challenges society faces. You are helping to tackle this, while providing communities in developing countries with the opportunity to create permanent positive change for themselves.

Every tree sequesters a tonne of CO2 in its lifetime, promotes biodiversity and helps with soil repair and the reversal of desertified land.  High yield harvests provide a regular food source, livestock fodder and surplus sold for income to provide healthcare and education. Every GiftTree contributes to a sustainable community. For good.
