Cubitt House Eats With…

We are excited to announce our new event series. A collection of one off, intimate dining experiences hosted by a guest chef, for one night only and all at The Princess Royal, Notting Hill.

Next up in the series is an evening with Amber Guinness on 6th July. Amber will be cooking some of her favourite dishes from her recently launched book A House Party in Tuscany, at our Notting Hill gem, The Princess Royal.

Tickets are £50 per person including a paired Welcome Drink, 3 courses cooked by Amber herself and a signed cook book to take home. Book your ticket below.

Amber Guinness was born in London and grew up in Tuscany, where she learned to cook at her mother’s side in the kitchen at Arniano. In 2014, she founded The Arniano Painting School, a residential painting holiday designed to breathe life back into Arniano after her father’s death. Guests can expect to enjoy dishes such as; fried zucchini flowers, sage leaves and mozzarella with chilli and lemon zest as well as pork loin with prunes and pine nuts.

Olia Hercules is visiting us on 10th August for a night of delicious Ukrainian cooking from her book Summer Kitchens. The book contains recipes such as Borsch with duck and smoked pears, Burnt aubergine butter and tomato toast, Pot roast chicken with herb crème fraîche, Nettle, sorrel and wild garlic soup and Poppyseed babka.

She is the author of the award-winning cookbooks Mamushka and Kaukasis and is also behind the fantastic and successful initiative #CookForUkraine

Georgina Hayden is a food writer, cook and presenter from North London. She was awarded the Fortnum & Mason ‘Cookery Writer of the Year’ award, 2021 and the Guild of Food Writers ‘Recipe Writer of the Year’ in 2020.

She grew up above her grandparents Greek Cypriot taverna in Tufnell Park and her third book ‘Nistisima’ is a book of vegan recipes, from the Mediterranean, Middle East and Eastern Europe. The word Nistisima refers to the food eaten during periods of lent and fasting. These are predominantly vegan/ plant based foods. And this is how people of Orthodox faith eat for many days and weeks during the year. Fasting here means to avoid food containing animal products.

Georgina will be cooking at The Princess Royal on 14th September. Expect a night of some delicious vegan cooking and fun!

Letitia Clark is a food writer, illustrator and chef based in Sardinia, Italy. She is the author of two acclaimed cookbooks; Bitter Honey and La Vita é Dolce. She writes, is also an illustrator, and runs cooking workshops in Italy and Greece.

Letitia will be cooking some Sardinian treats, joining us at The Princess Royal on 14th November.

Tickets to all our Cubitt House Eats With events are £50 per person including a paired Welcome Drink, 3 courses cooked by our guest chef and a signed cook book to take home. The conservatory at The Princess Royal will be the setting for each of these and subsequent confirmed events. Each host will prepare a menu that showcases dishes from their recently launched cook books, and sits well alongside the Cubitt House ethos which focuses on the best quality ingredients and fantastic hospitality. Guests will have the opportunity to speak informally with each of the chefs and hear directly from them on the menus, cooking and the inspiration behind their cookbooks.
