Neighbourhood Watch: Marylebone

Our About Town Guides are to give you a snapshot of the local area and some neighbourhood highlights around our pubs. Here we take a look at Marylebone and specifically the streets of The Coach Makers Arms and The Grazing Goat

The Grazing Goat

Marylebone has it all, from the chicest shops, cafés and restaurants to the bright lights of the West End. We are also moments from Hyde Park and everything it has to offer – a proper green space in the heart of central London. The world famous shopping streets of Marylebone High Street, Bond Street, St. Christopher’s Place and Oxford Street are all just a few minutes walk away but New Quebec Street is its own little haven of peace away from the hustle and bustle. You can get to all of what London has to offer, on foot, right from the front door.

Hyde Park

A huge expanse of space in central London with hidden little corners everywhere as well as places to just relax. With the Lido, The Serpentine and of course Winter Wonderland, there’s a lot going on too.

St. Christopher’s Place

A vibrant street tucked behind Oxford Street with and eclectic mix of boutiques, restaurants and high street shops.

The Wallace Collection

A celebrated and outstanding, but manageable, collection of paintings, sculpture, furniture and armour in the beautiful Hertford House on Manchester Square, just around the corner from The Grazing Goat and The Coach Makers Arms

The Coach Makers Arms

A favourite pub in the heart of the Marylebone neighbourhood. Just off Marylebone High Street with its fantastic collection of cafes, shops and restaurants and moments from Selfridges, Bond Street and Oxford Street this a properly bustling and fun corner of Marylebone in the centre of central London. Definitely a good place to be.

A vibrant street tucked behind Oxford Street with and eclectic mix of boutiques, restaurants and high street shops.

Selfridges

THE department store. Everything from designer bags to sushi. A destination in itself.
