THE O’CONNER DON WEEKEND

The O’Conner Don was the original name of The Coach Makers Arms and was, before closing, the oldest Irish pub in London. To celebrate all things Irish we will have a special menu of Irish snacks and drinks being served all weekend. Think Guinness, drams of single malt, oysters, soda bread toasties, Irish stew and much more. The bar and the Clubhouse will be screening the rugby matches from the final day of the Six Nations on Saturday 16th March and then on Sunday 17th March, St.Patrick’s Day, there will be live Irish Folk Music being played all day. The O’Conner Don is back for one weekend only. No bookings just a good old-fashioned free for all!

To mark the start of the Six Nations, we’ve teamed up with The Rugby Lives podcast for an exclusive series recorded right here, in our pubs - where food, rugby and farming go head-to-head.

First up, England legend Julian White MBE joins Chef Director Ben Tish at The Coach Makers Arms to talk scrum life, South Devon cows, and the shift from rugby boots to muddy boots.

Stay tuned, the first episode drops this Wednesday, 4th February.

A proper pint, a sausage roll, and a corner table. Pub perfection, the Cubitt House way.
