Our third series of Cubitt House Eats With, where celebrated cookbook authors share their cooking and knowledge continues with Anna Haugh at The Alfred Tennyson.
For the final episode of the Cubitt House Eats With series, we host Anna Haugh, who is an Irish chef, restaurateur and TV personality. She opened the successful Myrtle restaurant in Chelsea in 2019 and has appeared in numerous TV shows including as a judge on ‘Masterchef: The Professionals’ in 2022. Cooking is in her bones and sharing in her nature. A born and bred Dubliner, Anna was raised on her mum’s Irish home cooking. In ‘Cooking with Anna’ her debut cookbook, she shares 85 recipes that are as straight-forward as they are delicious.
We’ve teamed up with Champagne Philipponnat for this, our third series and Philipponnat will be treating all guests to a glass of Royale Réserve, Non Dosé NV on arrival.
Introducing Sang de Boeuf from @edwardbulmerpaint
In the fireplace room at @theorangepublichouse, @georgie_pearman chose the colour Sang de Boeuf, a rich, browny-red tone that translates from French to ‘Bull’s Blood’ or ‘Ox Blood.’ Historically, this colour was created using actual bull`s blood, but Edward Bulmer Natural Paint replicates the effect with a sustainable blend of red oxide and yellow ochre.
The good weather is on the way. Time to get planning your weekend in the sun! #CH # #CubittHouse
For the main bar area at The Orange, @georgie_pearman chose the colour ‘Clove’ created by interior designer Edward Bulmer. A spicy warm beige packed full of natural pigments to heat it up and really wrap the colour around the space.
This complex and grounding neutral perfectly complements the convivial atmosphere of the pub’s central space.
