Tickets to all our Cubitt House Eats With events are £75 per person including a Welcome Drink, 3 courses cooked by our author and a signed cookbook to take home. Guests will enjoy a menu that showcases dishes from the recently launched cook books with all our guests having the opportunity to speak informally with the authors and hear directly from them on the menus, cooking and the inspiration behind their cookbooks. On April the 4th we will have the British-Palestinian chef, multi-award winning and best selling author, Sami Tamimi. Perhaps most well known for his co-writing of books such as Jerusalem and Ottolenghi: The Cookbook with Yottam Ottolenghi and Tara Wigley. His newest book Falastin is a love letter to Palestine, the land and its people; an evocative collection of over 110 unforgettable recipes and stories.
Book HereOn 17th May we are hosting food writer, speaker, and trained chef Ed Smith. Ed has written extensively for Borough Market’s online magazine and print magazines, and is also the author of The Borough Market Cookbook; recipes and stories from a year at the market. His newest book Crave is a book of recipes arranged by flavour to suit one’s mood and appetite.
Book HereThen on 14th June, Ursula Ferrigno, acclaimed and experienced food writer and chef having taught at leading cookery schools across the world and also made many TV appearances will be treating our guests to an inspired menu. She is the author of more than 18 cookery books and has contributed to many publications including Olive, BBC Good Food, The Observer.
Book HereLast but definitely not least is Jacob Kenedy one of London’s leading restaurateurs. He will be at The Princess Royal on 5th July.
In 2008 he and his business partner Victor Hugo opened Bocca di Lupo, an award-winning independent restaurant that pioneered sharing small plates, and continues to champion Italy’s regional diversity. Jacob has also written three successful cookbooks – his book Bocca: Cookbook follows Jacob’s journey travelling the length and breadth of Italy over the course of a year, gathering up his favourite recipes which inform the menu at Bocca di Lupo.
