FREEDOM BREWERY

FREEDOM BREWERY

Just 4 ingredients. No gimmicks. No Compromise

We serve Freedom Beer, on draught, at all our pubs. Freedom is an independent British Brewery, which has been brewing for nearly 30 years. They started in a small brewery in Fulham with the simple ethos of making the very best premium lager using the very best ingredients. An ethos we at Cubitt House believe in whole heartedly. All beers are naturally carbonated and unpasteurised to protect their delicate flavours. The beers are fermented at low temperatures and the beer is  long matured to maximise the flavour. They are also Vegan Society certified.

Freedom is also sustainable. Their brewery in Staffordshire (where they have been located since 2004) uses their own spring water supply located beneath the brewery with all waste recycled through a natural reed bed filtration system. This means the water never travels more than half a mile for it to be used to brew and returned back to the environment.

The brewery, in the village of Abbots Bromley in Staffordshire, is the home of Freedom. Nestled on the side of a small valley with a spectacular view of the countryside is where all Freedom Beer is made. The local area is known mainly for its farming but also its water, which has been used in brewing since brewing beer was a thing! Water is from a natural spring beneath the brewery, giving the beers unique characteristics you won’t find elsewhere. The brewery is setup with some of the latest technology and sustainable brewing practises to show this is how good a beer should be.

Only the best ingredients are used and the lagers are meticulously crafted with patience and effort. All beers are naturally carbonated, for a finer, smoother bubble. They’re also long matured in vessels for a minimum of 4 weeks for a fuller flavour. The beers completely vegan avoiding the need for isinglass finings (taken from fish guts) to make beer bright. We give all of our beers this treatment to show you this is how a beer could and should taste.
