CUBITT HOUSE EXTRA OLIVE OIL

CUBITT HOUSE EXTRA OLIVE OIL

We are proud to launch our brand new Cubitt House Extra Virgin Olive Oil at the beginning of April. The olives are harvested by hand by one of the very best producers in Tuscany, Italy and picked just as they start to ripen to extract a particularly intense juice with very fruity aromas.

Our Olive Oil is from the Tenuta I Bonsi estate in Tuscany Italy. The south-facing terraces of the olive groves are divided by dry stone walls which, together with the type of soil, make a perfect habitat for the cultivation of trees that yield a delicious, intensely perfumed oil with fruity rather than peppery notes. These characteristics are encouraged by the process of cultivation. The use of organic methods safeguards both the olives and the surrounding environment.

This Extra Virgin Olive Oil is intense, with fruity and savoury flavour with note of artichoke and a pleasant spicy after taste.

The olive harvest takes place early and is done by hand, with an eye to quality rather than quantity. The olives are in the very early stages of ripening, ensuring a particularly intense juice with very fruity aromas. The olives are the cold-pressed just hours after picking in the modern olive-press plant owned by the farm, where stainless steel coexists in harmony with 200-year-old terracotta Orci. Meticulous care at every stage of production creates this beautiful olive oil, which passes through rigorous testing and tasting to guarantee the highest quality.

Our Cubitt House Extra Extra Virgin Olive Oil will be available to buy exclusively from all our pubs from the 1st April.

Olive Oil is not just for salad dressing, although our Extra Olive Oil will certainly make the perfect one, but it can also be the perfect ingredient in many recipes, including a particularly delicious ice cream. Why not give it a go?
